Since the poster had inquired about getting protein, I merely suggested the reading of the article at the other forum because that is where I had seen it. I did not know how to paste it and get it over here. It is always good for newbies to be aware of different sides to a question.
I am trying to go raw but would have a legitimate, serious question as to whether I could assimilate enough B-12 from greens -- my digestion is not the greatest and, if the interviewee is correct about long-term problems, then I would prefer to be prepared. Having Dr. Cousens' newest book in which he also mentions the potential problems about B-12 deprivation and his cautionary comments, it is wise to err on the side of caution. It was simply an academic suggestion to assist a poster.
Also, I realize that Fred was the interviewer.
It was only information.
