Raw juices are too "damp" for recovering system...
Hi John, I've been away and yours was one of the first posts I happened to catch. Thank you for writing out your protocol.
I discovered the same thing about raw green juices; I used to swear by them but some acupuncture doctors told me that the raw food was too "damp" for me. They said I shouldn't be detoxing, I need to be "building".
And so the last 3 months I've totally focused on cooked vegetables that are steamed or sautéed in coconut oil. This change has worked better for me than anything I've tried. My strength and weight has come back nicely!
By the way, I wondered about what you said about probiotics in the same post. You know, how your body becomes used to them...? I had to take another round of
Antibiotics a while back and I've been consuming as many fermented foods and probiotics as I can. You don't think this is wise? (I may have missed something in another thread as I've been gone...)
