Day 5: Hello Interesting Rash

So this forum seems kind of quiet....thought I would post my expereinces, day 5, 100 percent raw.

My body temperature, which is normally a somewhat appalling 97.1 degrees shot up today to 98.6. Wow, a normal body temperature. Who woulda thunk it?

I also have broken out in a few rashes all over my body which has made me overjoyed....means I'm detoxing! Wooo! I also have rosy cheeks and have been sweating a bit. This is fantastic because I usually never sweat, even if I exert myself.

I don't know why it's been so easy for me to go 100 percent raw all at once. All I did was go to the doctor, found out I have fibromyalgia or Multiple Sclerosis, then gave myself a "last hurrah". In an attempt to turn myself off of a SAD diet, I hauled my vegetarian butt to Jack in the Box and got a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and that plaster of paris-based thing they call a shake. I ate it ALL, with relish (as in gusto, not the condiment), and some chocolate. Man, did I feel sick that night and the next morning! By the time I got up, I was reeeeeely ready to go raw.

So far I have noticed that my body is having the teensiest bit of a hard time digesting the veggies. Do I care? No. I know it will take awhile before my body makes the transition to being able to translate raw food. (Body: "What? No chocolate? No bread? No CHEESE?!?! How do I digest this thing you call raw food?")

I also looked at my face in the mirror, and despite the mild rash on it, the skin looks so vibrant and feels so soft and healthy! This after only 5 days!

I have about 3 weeks before I have to go back to the doctor and hear about how they want to put me on Depression meds for fibromyalgia again, since my original diagnosis on September 30.

This raw thing...I love it!

Blessings,

Ali
