Similarly in a polar bear, the environment CAUSED his skin to become thick, as to protect him from the cold. This are millions of other examples of this around the globe."

And the difference between these two statements is??? Whether you call it an ACCIDENT OR a MUTATION, OR an ADAPTATION (“cause” as termed by you), the end result is the same... you are just playing with semantics here.
