That is incorrect. You are the one that needs to do the re-reading. He states that after He made the earth that He said Let there be light and there was light. He goes on to say he made the earth and then He says the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed,etc. And then he said that was the third day. THEN it says And God said, Let there be lights in the FIRMAMENT of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years. God made LIGHT in the first day. BUT...he didn't make the SUN until the fourth day. Check it out. LIGHT is NOT "SUN". Light is an object. The sun is not the only thing that produces light. Besides there are many "suns" in the universe. The millions of stars that produce light. They are all "SUNS".
