Re: Probably not.

Being on your path (like you and I) and looking for that path is two different things. First one must actually look for that path, and when the happen upon it, must be willing to trust God's guidence. Then one must be willing to stay on that path, regardless of those side blows the devil's so good at dealing out!

But part of being on your path is doing as God wants you to do. For those in baby steps it's often just putting aside time to be with God each day. He'll use that time to teach you. That's why bible study is so important. As well as any other christian text your "given" to study. That how God teaches you how to go through the spiritual develpomental stages. But the most important thing to do is learn to go to God in all things. That means saying a pray when your stressed out at work or frustrated at home. Any small thing that causes your peace to be disturbed you should take to God in prayer. It's like learning to crawl. First you scoot and then you work up to actual crawling. It's a slow process, but one that is ultimately worth it.

Doing those things doesn't mean your saying you know better then God, it says that you are trusting IN God! Doing something that says "I know better" is like jumping into missionary work when you're still a "baby" christian. It's just not a good thing!!

God bless!
