I see the difference! You see striving for a closer relationship as taking an unauthorized shortcut. I see it as not only recognising my surroundings, the flowers and griffiti, but as being avtively on that path. I'm not standing there wondering why things aren't happening, I am walking the path God gave me watching the scerary and taking those deviations that God puts in front of me. I guess I could discribe cheating with the shortcut attempt as doing something not from the heart but for social status/self pride. An example could be seen through a common novel scene. There is a benefit festival with booths and raffels. There is always the woman who has the booth because (imagine the hauty voice) "we Humphrey's always have a booth, it would be unseemly to do otherwise. We have a social status to uphold after all!" (Yeah I have read those scenerios in books before) The lady is trying to get ahaed quick by having a booth but not really doing it to help whomever the event is meant to help. (make sense?) Tweet
