Re: Now I think I understand

In the dictionary the word church is refered to as 3 things. 1 a religious organisation, 2 a religious building, and 3 the community of believers/christians. Religion has 2 meanings; 1 a belief in a divine being and 2 a specific set of beliefs or practices. So I guess it would be the following. I am part of a community of believers in Christ but I do not conform to a specific set of beliefs and practices. Or, I have a personal relationship with Christ, who I have taken as my savior, but I do not participate in a specifc organised religon. Or, I have a belief in a divinity refered to as God but I do not conform to recognised socially acceptible set beliefs and practices refered to as religion.

(I could come up with more, I'm finding this fun!)
