Re: Fruit and Vegetable washes?

nspeth, yup I use a brush, and just regular old soap. I figure if it's good enough for my skin (which is our biggest organ and absorbs everything we put on it...eek!) then it's good enough for my fruit! I'm thinking...would I take that Fit or whatever that spray is, and spray it on my face, or eat it? And if the answer is no, then I wouldn't put it on my veggies, either. I'm just speculating - I actually have no idea what this Fit stuff is, really ;) I just use a nice hard natural bristle nail brush, and scrub away. This Burt's Bees soap leaves no residue, which is why I like it lots.

Argh I had no idea about the fruit spraying! Sometimes I wish I could go live on a farm somewhere and be completely self-sufficent. There just are not that many people in the food business who have our best interests at heart! It's all about the all-mighty dollar.
