As a woman that took Paxil, I know exactly what your wife is going through. I took Paxil for 2 years, I didn't have a sex drive, I was always tired, didn't want to do anything and I gained about 40 pounds from it. I was miserable and on the verge of losing my boyfriend at the time. I went to a different doctor that put me on Zoloft, I don't have any side effects at all and I feel great!!! I would have her look into it :-)
