Re: if he wont listen, let his body tell him when he gets sick
I was thinking about that...the whole...not wasting the food we have and use the time to get ready for it. I mean, I don't even feel comfortable just jumping into it. Just the thought of it made me get up and eat a bowl of cereal haha. It's been a while for me and I also began smoking again.
We have some major habits to kick and I think it's best that we prepare pretty well. That's why the only thing I bought when he told me to just go get what we need, was syrup and salt, because I know I'm going to do an MC...we needed good salt anyway.
I'm still not sure if he'd be better off doing juice or lemonade. I got all excited talking about the juice with him and mentioned beets and he just got stern and disgusted. He's not big on trying new things.
Oh I've made my fair share of not so great tasting juices but it's all about experimenting and finding things you like and new things.
I'm going to talk to him tonight and see if he is really serious about getting into it and if so, it's best that we take at least a couple of days to prepare and definitely do some pre-fast dieting. I've told him that he can probably lose more weight on a raw or negative calorie diet but...fasting just seems more effective to him.
I have a feeling he wants to do it for the wrong reasons and...oh I'm just getting worried now. I'm going to try to remain optimistic and not get discouraged because I think a fast would make him feel so much better. I think he's been feeling a bit depressed lately as well.
