Re: Haven't done this in a while and boyfriend wants in

Thanks. I wasn't sure that the lax tea was suitable as a replacement for the swf, I recall some controversy over that. I have had trouble myself finding a good lax tea that tastes good haha. I've only used that Super Dieter's Tea...I do believe it's a Senna tea. He is very stubborn. I started off optimistic when he said he'd do anything and was willing to try it but since he's been at work, I'm starting to dread what is going to happen. Haha and we only have one bathroom!

He also smokes...a lot. And I've started smoking again as well but I know I can quit. He has been talking about how he also needs to quit though so maybe this will work out very well.

Oh thanks for the link to your blog.

Since he is only doing this for weight loss, I might tell him he can have diet colas since they're calorie free...I'm just worried about the artificial sweeteners and unnatural ingredients. I do it for cleansing, the weight loss is a definite plus. I just don't know how I am going to get him through this.

Do you suggest a good goal for someone who's been a toxic eater all their life and smokes and is doing this for the first time? My last fast was on juice for 30 days but if I tell him he's not going to eat for 30 days, he'd get so stressed out and probably say forget it haha.
I suppose 10 days for him would be a good start.

ANOTHER PROBLEM.....for some reason...he doesn't want to ween himself off of bad food or eat smaller portions or healthier food for a few days before he starts, he just wants to jump in. Any advice on how to get him to change his mind? I've explained that starting doesn't mean not eating...there are steps involved and having never done this before, it would only make things easier for him.
