Question for veteran cleansers
Hi there!
May is the 2 year anniversary of my first Master Cleanse. I've done 8-10 cleanses ranging from 10-30 days. I love the cleanse - it changed my life. A former fast food junkie, I've been vegetarian since my first fast, and for the most part, stay away from processed foods. I've always loved the light, clean feeling from the cleanse, never had a problem with the SWF, and always lost at least one pound per day (except near the end of the extended cleanses).
My question is this: During my last cleanse last fall (10 days), I felt as though I were not fasting at all. No hunger. No light, clean feeling. Little elimination, even with the SWF. No weight loss.
Today is the 5th day of my annual long-term cleanse(I shoot for 20-30 days each May). Again, no hunger, no light, clean feeling, little elimination, even with the SWF, and only 3
pounds down on the scale. I feel no different.
I'm wondering if my body has just gotten use to cleansing or, since I've changed my eating habits (not that I don't have my junk food days, I'm human, just never eat meat) if my body doesn't *need* the cleanse, so it's not affected.
Has anyone else who is a veteran cleanser had an experience like this?
Any insight or sharing of experience is greatly appreciated.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
