Re: Day 4-- want to EAT!
What a fun group we've got going here! Hadn't thought of blending it with ice. I'll have to try that at home!
Today's day 5 for me, and I'm actually hungrier tonight than I've been for days. I had extra (more than 6) lemonades, and my tummy is growling. I decided the family could have "make your own leftovers" night for dinner, but my 7 yr old daughter and I baked a home-made apple pie tonight. We used store-bought crusts, but everything else was done from scratch. She had such a blast measuring, mixing, and sealing the crust. It was a first for her. I kept a damp rag next to me so that I wouldn't forget and lick my fingers. The house smells WAY too good, so I had to come and hide in my room while they are eating it.
Tomorrow will be a good day. I won't be home much, so I'll be packing plenty of lemonade. Sunday my in-laws are throwing us an early anniversary party. I told her I wouldn't be eating, so she's having something I can't eat anyways. Then I won't be tempted.... nice of her to think of that! Hubby's sister and family are flying in from Arizona for the weekend, so we're getting together a few weeks early so the family can get together. Usually I just bring myself a big bowl of salad and have a bite of cake. Hubby likes it, because he always gets my plate after my taste! This year, I might try the lemonade icee mentioned above...in a special glass. I'll feel more special than drinking it out of a water glass!
Thanks again to everyone for your continued posts and support!
