But I totally feel you erica. I too have an emotional attachment to food, and not just the eating part. Cooking is my favorite hobby- i find it very therapeutic and i get so much pleasure out of the act of food prep. The Master-Cleanse takes this away from me. Well, i get like a few mins of pleasure from making my lemonade everyday. whoop de do.

as far the eating part though, i think i'm definitely pushing my will power to the limit. but remember. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! stop yourself before you reach for something and seriously think about the situation. Is all the hard work you've put in thus far worth losing for a tiny nibble. And, are you REALLY going to get THAT much pleasure from eating whatever. the pleasure you get is only temporary. in fact, it is fleeting. as soon as its been swallowed, you're only going to want more anyway.

my biggest motivation, though, is proving all my doubters wrong. most of my friends basically thought i was crazy and that i was never going to complete it. we'll see who gets the last say, ^~
