Before I had started all the cleansing (Parasite, Liver, Bowel, MC), I weighed in about 130 (last month). I just stepped on the scale and I just lost even MORE weight; I'm 115 lbs now! I seriously feel like a skeleton, and I can feel my midsection hugging my ribcage at this point!

I'm drinking 7 lemonades (half organic/half non as my store stopped selling organic recently!) w about 14 tablespoons of maple syrup (organic grade B). Including the water added for the lemonades, I drink between 100-120 ounces of water/day. I may add more syrup, but 24 tablespoons/day seems like a bit much. That's over 300 grams of sugar/day! Is that safe?

In terms of the protein issue, I've always derived more energy from protein than from carbs, as it seems to be my metabolic type. Whenever I eat carbs, I just get hungrier, but when I eat proteins, I become satisifed and more energetic.

As for activities and excercise, right now on the Master-Cleanse I'm not doing much, as I feel like I don't have the energy to excercise. I do some Yoga, but that's about it.


Honestly at this point I question the safety of the Master Cleanse. I have reservations now about the Master-Cleanse for a few reasons:

Lacks Variation
Lacks Protein (0 grams/day for 10+ days straight seems dangerous to me)
Excess Sugar

Granted a juice fast would supply just as much Sugar (if not more), but I would imagine fruit/vegetable derived sugars would be better for you than Maple Syrup. Additionally a fruit/veggie juice fast would provide some of that needed protein that the Master-Cleanse lacks. What do you guys think, should I switch off? The only reason why I would keep going with the MC, is that I like to finish what I start and right now I have a huge stockpile of lemons and maple syrup!
