I believe I've kept the forum up to date with most developments in relation to my digestive issues. When I was referred to a consultant at a top London teaching hospital several years ago, I became his pet guinea pig. He carried out several very extensive test, including an intestinal MRI and we both learn't that I had an asynchronous peristalsis in my bowel causing CIPO with secondary cholelithiasis, and also a spontaneous lateral ventral hernia. Leading on from that, my name was put forward to a study on connective tissue disorders at the same hospital, and I am currently being studied by them.
