Re: Iodine induced goiter, how long does it take to get rid of it?

goiter is caused by a lack of iodine, not too much iodine. try foods high in Cs and Bs like fresh citrus and nutritional yeast.

yes, changes in diet can take time so its good so only make changes you can adopt and maintain and KNOW it is good for you.

here is another idea. i have found that vegcaps are really bad for people. they are easily absorbed but not digestable by the body. this "semi-synthetic plastic" bio-accumulates and creates a coating in the stomach that can actually block absorption of the very thing people take the vegcaps for. they can also cause diarrhea and the accompanying dehydration and loss of electrolytes. no telling what this plastic does at a cellular level. people lose their minds and think vegcap - veggies - healthy. it really couldnt be further from the truth. gelcaps have been around forever (or gelatin has) and it is easily digestible FOOD, not a limited and regulated additive for food like gelcaps are. since when did the FDA know what was good for us, anyway?

be well.
