Re: Is this forum dead?
It does seem new posts have become very limited recently. I've been doing my best to post, and respond to posts, to keep momentum going but it doesn't seem to have had any impact.
Although, less posts is not necessarily a bad thing. There are a handful of posts in these forums that I consider to be gems, however they are hidden away in the muddy waters of less useful posts, trolls and the like. So perhaps it is a sign there is less noise so we can all find the good information a lot more easily.
Perhaps you can do your bit to continually try new things and post your progress, I'm sure everyone who is a regular here will appreciate reading about it.
I'll do my bit now by keeping you updated on my progress.
I'm currently on day 23 of a rigorous aquaphor/hydrocortisone routine, focusing primarily on my lower lip (tactically) - I still haven't peeled. The signs are promising and I can see what appears to be a layer of skin under the aquaphor with vertical lines. I'll be continuing with the same treatment for as long as I can (e.g. as long as self isolation lasts) or until I am 100% confident that I don't need the aquaphor anymore, which I'm unsure I'll be able to accurately guage.
