Major DNA breakthrough...simple yet complex (hard to find since it's DNA related)!

Ok, I've been coming to terms that EC probably is a more simple condition than we have thought. So, I've been going back to simpler theories. I checked my DNA again and found something I overlooked because it didn't seem like a big deal. However, it's listed as a rare DNA defect. Genetically, my body produces less vitamin B12. I never worried about B12 because my blood levels have always shown a high level of B12 although I don't take vitamin B supplements. But my blood tests also show a high level of folate although my DNA shows a defect in my body's ability to produce folate. What I'm trying to say is vitamins your body naturally has a hard time producing/absorbing may show excess in your blood since your body isn't absorbing it. I hate the smell of regular B12 vitamins, and my body probably doesn't absorb them well. Hence, I tried coenzyme B12 for better absorption.

Whatever the reason your lips peel, open/raw skin breeds yeast/bacteria. Drooling from mouth breathing and dry mouth is ideal environment for yeast. My lips never felt better after taking these coenzyme B12 vitamins (that don't smell like regular B12 vitamins).

I hope this helps some people here.
