We don't avoid the telling of his experience but there is just nothing much to tell. He 100% believed he had the supernatural gift of tongues and his pastor supposedly believed he had it and the church members did too, but despite all of that, my husband still came to see that he did not actually have the true gift of biblical tongues.

My husband had never heard of John MacArthur or anyone else like him speaking out against the Pentecostal false doctrines when he came out of it all. He had kind of a crisis in his life I guess you could say and it lead him to start really praying for God to give him answers and then he began to really study the scriptures for himself which lead him to see that so much of what he had learned in his Pentecostal church was false.
