Re: Crawling on scalp and hair loss! help!!

Hello, in response to the lady that is having the crawling plus more symptoms on the scalp.

I hope this is going to you since I have used this site. I went six Dr's concerning the same issues that u r experiencing. The 1st through 4th Dr.just threw it off to age for the hair loss & suggested things that never worked. I then started researching & it all led up to Demodex Mites which we all have but I learned that I have an over abundance of them because my immune system is compromised because I have a lung disease. So I went to the 5th Dr. & took all of my research to show her that I do know what is wrong with my scalp & hair loss. I had already been using tea tree shampoo & conditioner. So she offered no HELP. The 6th Dr. is a teaching Dr. at IU med center. I told them what I had been going through & he said he will treat it aggressively with IVERMECTIN.By this the mites were going crazy & I was desperate for help. I was to take 1st dose of 5 tablets & 7 days later take 5 more. By the 8th & 9th days the mites were going crazy.I had to shampoo late at night & put tea tree on my scalp to be able to sleep. On the 10th. I woke up feeling like a new person....finally no movement.
This is 6 months later & I am back to the same problem. It's ironic that Dr.'sact like they know nothing about this why so many people are suffering from this. I hoe this helps someone. All the best! Tweet
