I really wouldn't. There are always impurities in manufacture. Suppose they use isopropyl alchohol in the manufacture and there's a trace. You woudln't even want a trace. Suppose they use methanol. I'd use natto for a source. The stuff you're talking about is probably shovelled out of a pile in a warehouse somewhere which formerly contained something else.
