Re: high dosage iodine for hypothyroid and hair loss
Hi thanks for replying. I have a pretty good hair care routine, dont use shampoos (just water), dont wear hats, eat very well, do the scalp massage.
My main concerns here are about supplementing
Iodine and it's effects regarding my hair. I have my own routine for regrowth with the scalp massage that I'm sticking with and that I believe has good credence when tied in to decent healthy eating, exercise etc.
Though the side effects of
Iodine can be hair fall and i;d definitely made progress on this front. Topical
Iodine seems to stop the hair fall pretty solidly, i notice if i don't put it on for a while and i get a stress flare up then I lose more hair so I'm sticking to this. Should these problems with hairfall, increased anxiety etc sort themselves out when the body reaches iodine sufficiency? Is 100mg a good dose to go to? I don't mind working my way through some heavy symptoms if it means I'm going to come out the other side feeling great, just want to know what I'm dealing with here.
Cheers
