Re: 2017 Research on Skin Parasite Eggs. Morgellons Mites Worms
Update.
Thanks Sharkman! Although the cocoon cysted encasings look similar to those of the two
parasites you mentioned, none have the telltale spiral larva associated with those.
I'm posting latest skin samples - similarities of cysts from photos I took from the most highly inflamed area on face (two smaller/less inflamed spots are slowly healing but all take cleaning out daily along with meds), give hope that this will be identified.
Note that the "glass shards" many sufferers reference, are (in my case), the cysts/cocoons anchored in skin with many black filaments (see attached photos).
The photos of larvae inside are as clear as I could take them - whatever it is, it looks capable of inflicting serious trouble.
Ive just gotten referral from my GI doc who thinks it's some form of
Tapeworm (not from these photos but first intestinal samples which look like a menagerie of round and flat worms). He has started the referral process to one of his friends who is supposedly a competent ID physician - the type of specialist I've been trying to get to see for months - HOPEFULLY he is inquisitive and engaged in discovering what all this is.
Reality is I have seen multiple types of
parasites come out of me (skin and GI) - Labcorp gave negative read on first batch of GI samples, but they were stored in alcohol, then alcohol in freezer for weeks, then transferred to ova
parasite tubes with fermaldahide per lab request. then half had to go into official pink test container (random had-to requirement by Labcorp), and most were over one month in freezer storage, so I knew there was little chance Labcorp and their lack of advanced
parasite ID testing, and strict stay inside the lines protocol, would be able to handle this. I did request (marked on sample tubes and I personally called and spoke with someone) that the return sample to doc, but the samples never came back.
Big loss as those were the prominent early flushed GI samples - doubt I will ever have that level in this round.
Those early treatments (Albendenzole and Prazi) produced a lot of good examples and over two months relief from skin issues. Regardless, I photographed all and will see how ID doc responds to using my slides (few are still in my possession) and the many pics as part of ID process.
The photos below were taken this week and the outbreak all clustered in one area / the black filaments part seems to be an anchor in skin (VERY hard to tweeze out even with Tweezerman fine point tipped tweezers which can grip the finest thin hair.
It's like wire and requires substantial pull to get these cysts out - well designed/adapted. Many more filaments and ribbon like things as well. I only included one here.
I'm back on Albendenzole (3.75 ml of Valbazen every 12 hours equal to lil over 400 mg each dose), and 1.5 teaspoons of 99.5% pure praziquantel powder every 6 hours (25 mg/kg at 95 kg weight or 2375mg)..."lovely" tasting 😑 (I sandwich the powder in large spoon between layers of applesauce and bypasses tongue (usually).
Expecting to see re-clearing-up of my latest skin issues (enjoyed over 2 months of no issues until I stopped meds - this time going for 6 months (unless ID doc finds out this is something different.
Apparently (as noted by others and through official research reporting sites like NIH), 6+ months is min term for effective treatment. I'm all in on that as the hassle and side effects not even close to enduring this living Hell.
Any help in ID ing these pics appreciated
