I think you are rushing into it. There is no need whatsoever to do a desperate attempt to a fast. I have been in the same boat as you and failed more than a few times until I learned not to rush it. Is it possible to go cold turkey into
Water Fasting and get results? Of course is possible. But it tortuous, very unpleasant and even scary/dangerous.
Do it smart. Go for a vegan diet for a couple of weeks, cutting meat and dairy is the main goal. Then try a raw vegan diet for a week or two. Then move on to a juice feast/fast for as long as you need to (you can go a long time on just juice but even after 1-2 weeks you will see improvements). Then and only then go for a prolonged
Water Fast (7+ days). You can always start with short 3-5 day fast for further detox and getting used to the idea of fasting.
Cardio, Yoga, Sauna and Massages are good complements to detoxing.
Go on YouTube and research fasting. John Rose, Tyler Tolman or Liferegenerator are good place to start.
