So today marks the 30th day of my water fast. For someone who couldn't go more than 2 hours without food, that seems pretty insane. The hunger pains in my stomach have completely subsided. I've noticed I'm producing quite a lot of mucous. It's in the back of my throat so I can't really spit it out, so just have to swallow it. It's horrible but I'll manage. My biggest issue is the light headedness, every time I stand up I have to make sure I'm ok before I walk. I know that's just part of the fast at this point so I'm ok with that. The biggest worry is hitting my head from fainting so I'm being extra cautious and taking my time. I guess now I'm just waiting for true hunger to set in.
Other than that I feel fine. No headaches, no muscle aches, no cramps or joint pain. I feel good. The weight loss has continued but it's very slow. If you do something like this with the aim of losing weight then you're coming into this with the wrong mindset in my opinion. Make your focus be the detoxing process and you'll be successful.
Apologies for not replying to the messages, haven't been online much. Thank you for all the well wishes and advice. I will certainly take it all on board.
