lam27: Answer is ...hiatal hernia causes vomiting, burping, food sticking in the esophagus. Treatment: slowly drink a full glass of water before you eat, and the weight of the water will sink the stomach back down below the hernia. Also, eat fats which oil the food to slide down easier. Eat slowly and calmly since stress seems to cause the hernia to rise up above the stomach. Meat seems to stick like velcro, so eat fatty meat with lots of fat and in tiny bits mixed with other foods.
