Re: Unidentified parasite. Lab tests came back with no detections

Sorry, thanks for asking for clarification: the visual disturbance is just me being squeamish at the site of potential parasites in my stool. I do not think I've ever seen worms in my field of vision, and I probably only ever see a floater in my eye once a year (maybe once a year (past three years) I have some sort of visual migraine with no pain - my eyes get blurred and I see strange colored lights). as far as the floaters, either I don't notice them or I don't get them. I don't general notice headachs or minor inconveniences. I think the bowel pressure and gas I get is an exception because I worry about it a lot.

I just went through my fridge for anything that I thought would be stringy like that. Thinking back I overlooked the spinach I eat almost three time a day. The spinach stems are similar length and could have fibers like the pictures I have posted.

MY diet is pretty consistent. I eat either

Breakfast:
3 eggs and spinach/kale
or Oatmeal and Whey protein. (I've taken whey for multiple years, I don't think I'm lactose intolerant, but my mom and grandma both are.)

Lunch:
Almonds, walnuts and spinach

Dinner:
Usually a vegetable (Spinach/kale or when I make stir fry with corn/carrots/onions/broccoli)

1. Frozen pizza
2. taco with cheese and either chicken or beans
3. Stir fry with beans or chicken

My stools are usually paste like, and maybe once a week are very loose and will float (not quiet like diarrhea). When it's loose is when I will normally notice the mucus like strings (they look like worms in that they are shaped cylindrical and sometimes come bunched in a pack of multiple strings, but seem to break apart so easily. The weird thing is that they just don't seem to have a complete structure and break apart easily and I think dissolved or broke apart into my skin the one time i tried to examine it) I wish I would have taken a picture.

I don't ever notice an odor to my stools unless I get very close ( usually when it has multiple of the strings and mucus.) I've noticed its smelled somewhat sweet/tangy. I'm not sure if that is normal or if i only smell that to take a look.

I usually go to the bathroom once or twice a day. I find myself peeing more than what I think most people do. up to 8 times a day (no sleep interruptions).

I'm sorry if this is now getting out of the topic of the forum, or if I'm being overly concerned over nothing. I really do appreciate your thoughtful questions and time. In my opinion you've already asked more intriguing questions and seemed to care more than the doctor I met about my concerns back in December.
