Re: Vomiting bile when fasting - electrolyte imbalance?
I just want to add. I've ended my fast at 40 days, during the night due to a few factors: 4 days of throwing up bile, pain in abdomin, headaches, fever. Because all this occurred late in the fast I could only assume it was because my body had done enough and needed to stop. Although it could also mean the last of the toxic waste leaving.
But either way I can't afford to take risks with my life. So I broke the fast with some avocado. Avocado regulates the
Sugar levels and I urge you to keep some on hand at all times. After your fast you will probably need to keep an eye on your
Sugar intake. Of course you are not going to actually eat or drink any processed sugary foods or drinks again but just fruit sugars and your new clean body will now react differently and you have to learn how to keep that in balance.
Im using avocado because I know from past experience from when I was younger and skinny that avocado will save your life. It can change your state almost instsntly from feeling near death to feeling stable. Anyway so I'm now onto my 3rd day after the fast and I haven't killed myself with overeating yet! First major accomplishment. Just trying this and that for the sake of it is bad. But anyway I'm now doing better and I've made a pot of vegetable broth which I'm having whenever I feel low. It's raining a lot here now so this is comforting as well. I'm leaving all the veges and just drinking the broth. This is giving me energy because it's fast to absorb with little effort to digest so easy on the tummy.
Later I'll mash up the veges and eat that like baby food. I've also been having grapes which are in season here and so they are giving me a big
Sugar and energy hit. I'm having about 10 a day or less. I spun out on grape sugar high on one occasion but grabbed an avocado and dry cracker and got myself stable fast with that.
The hard part is getting through the coming three weeks without over eating. But if you find some nourishing food like vege broth and avocado with occasional fruit which you can puree then you will get through it happily without feeling hard done by that you can't have the food everyone else is having. Not going back to old ways after my big 40 day fast. Also forgot to mention with the peppermint oil. You must use a carrier oil with it, I use almond oil. 8 drops in a bowl with some almond oil and then I slather it on all over. Nothing has been more soothing to mind body and soul over these past weeks than that!
