Various things can cause the "estrogen dominance" symptoms.

Did the ratio of E to P look okay too?

Sometimes it helps to look at your result relative to the reference range. Borderline normal may still make the test suspicious and cause the doc to tweak supplements or meds.

Was testosterone much higher than estradiol?

Of course your sex organs are still making E as well.

the mineral molybdenum is involved in production of sulfate--the S in DHEA-S--and is involved in breakdown of a byproduct of candida--yeast--infection. Have you ever been tested, maybe using a stool test or OAT test?
