I have done the fast a number of times, (the last was 15 days that ended last weekend) and all I do is ease back into eating steamed veggies the very first day. I am not recommending it per se, but it works for me. I don't find I need to do juice, then broth etc. I wouldn't recommend pizza or a cheese burger, but some 'good' restaurant veggie soup or light steamed veggies shouldn't be tough on your system if you aren't able to get to a kitchen.
I also pick up Chinese fresh steamed veggies with rice and noodles (with or without tofu depending on where I get take-out) if I don't have the time to throw a nice variety of veggies in a pot. I have several decent Chinese places in my neighborhood and their steamed veggies are very tasty and nutritious.
I gave up meat several months ago, but if you must eat it, do so in moderation and add that many days after breaking the fast. (remember, it is full of chemicals, hormones and is difficult to digest)
