Re: I'm not the one replacing Jerusalem with saints - II
I agree Loquat, the understanding of the New Covenant and what all that means was what finally set me free from a whole lot of really bad theology I had learned previously in my life. So the importance of understanding all that cannot be overstated and it applies to all areas of theology.
And I agree too about starting in Revelation, and how that's not a real good idea. That's honestly what scared me away from the study of eschatology. I ignorantly thought you had to start there. And when Refreshed would throw certain Revelation passages at me during our debates, I would run from that because I had no idea what those passages were saying. I'm sure there is still a whole ton I can't explain from Revelation. But after realizing that I really needed to start with the clear passages for this study first, now the Revelation passages are starting to make more sense.
But thanks for putting my mind to rest. More than anything, I was just trying to clear up what my husband said. I have to do that quite a bit in non-online life too, so I'm used to it. lol
And yes, looking forward to the humdingers still. Bring on some more brain damage! :)
