As I said, it was a 'cryptic' reference, so I wouldn't have expected anybody to 'get it', unless they were also fans.

And glad you think I out-debated 461. Some might disagree. It's not often you get to argue with 'the enemy', and I'm not sure mine was always the right approach. But she was a real hoot all the same.

As for the literal unfolding 'before our very eyes' of various apocalyptic characters, if the record to date is anything to go by, I think all the failed date-setting predictions associated with them are just as likely to bring Christianity into disrepute, and make us a laughing stock.
