Re: Crohn's help! Colloidal Silver, DMSO, Oregano, Becks, GcMAF, Gerson, any tips?
My twin sons have Crohn's, and each has done things differently. We started out with the usual mainstream medical approach but it didn't help and the side effects were terrible.
One of my sons tried any kind of alternative treatments. He started with the usual aloe vera, slippery elm, tumeric,
Colloidal Silver , probiotics etc. These gave relief but didn't stop the progression.
We also tried DMSO and
Colloidal Silver which did bring some relief for awhile from the big flares, but then there was something about it that bothered him (not sure what).
Then accupuncture really helped along with various chineses herbal formulas. He still has it but he's turned a corner, put on weight and doing better.
My other son didn't want anything to do with the mumbo jumbo alternative stuff but wasn't helped by the doctors either.
First thing he invented his own form of meditation to keep his sanity. And this turned out to be very helpful for his health too. Secondly he started smoking marijuana after reading about all the people that got relief from Crohn's that way.
He didn't just get high with friends but took it alone as a medicine with the right conducive environment etc. Actually this worked for him and he was in complete remission for a year or so.
And he's still doing way better than in the past or even than his brother. The problem is has a terrible diet, eating the foods he's not supposed to and this is bringing back the flares to some extent.
I know this sounds crazy, but cannibis really works well for Crohn's. Oil might work better than smoking it but my sons don't have access to the oil.
As a parent I brought up my kids to stay away from pot and other drugs (questionable whether pot's really a drug). But given all the terrible side effects of the usual Crohn's drugs, and their deteriorating health, organs, suffering, etc - it was a no brainer to try. And so far it's the VASTLY safest and most effective tool in the arsenal that's clearly turned them around.
Crohn's is a horrible disease and don't let any preconceptions about pot hold you back from seeing what it can do for you. Compared to the side effects of Remicade, MJ is thousands of times safer and for most people more effective.
