Re: Parasite Identification

Did you eat any sushi, or sea food products (for example kelp, etc?)

It's a little funny to mention, but there's a thread in the parasite identification section where folk who are really interested in studying these things suspect a polyp-like parasite to actually be a very young jellyfish or cuttlefish larvae.

It's not like the digestive tract is anywhere like the seawater, but it is concievable that some of those critters would simply carry on growing in another sea-critter's digestive tract or blood because they'd just be excreted (pooped or peed) out again from the big fish.

That sure makes me think of the sea cucumber family.

The chinese herbs increase gall production to help stimulate liver cleaning.. It could be in the fluke family too.

Try not to wake up the neighbors with the freakin' out.. but I'd consider this a sort of victory, so panicketh thou notteth,
Sounds rather to me like you're doing things right!

If the hurt continues, try the olive oil and grapefruit juice route to keep your omega 3's high? (liver flushing)
