Re: water filters

There are only 2 good choices: Water Distillers and Reverse Osmosis.

I recommend water distilling for cooking & drinking. I distill 1 gallon of water at a time using this distiller:
https://www.amazon.com/Megahome-Countertop-Distiller-Stainless-Collection/dp/B000ANW7HQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1470930882&sr=8-4&keywords=water+distiller
We have been using this distiller for 10 years with no problems. It takes about 5 hours to distill 1 gallon.

Amazon has a wide selection of water distillers sizes to suit every family.

Distillers give us totally pure water. You can add minerals back into the distilled water if you want with a few drops per gallon:

We don't do this because we get all the minerals we need from food.
