Re: water filters
It seems there is a lot of conflicting information out there. The scientific reports I read (sorry didn't retain) said that flouride could not be removed with distillation. I just don't believe statements from organizations that are selling. Not saying you aren't right. Just saying I did a lot of research and could find no evidence that flouride was removed in distillation. The analysis of distilled water purchased shows flouride content.
I have tried making coffee or tea with distilled water and all I get is lightly colored water. I have to use just the filtered water.
The Berkeys are over priced but you can buy the same filter of another brand and make you own filter out of 5 gallon buckets. One of those negative comments you refer to is mine. It is just a coffee pot with holes for the filters.
I also found that I cannot make
Colloidal Silver with just distilled water. I have to run it through the Berkey first. I distilled the same water 3 times and the Silvergen would not even come on. I bought new Berkey filters and then ran the water through both and the SilverGen worked fine.
I, for one, would really like to see some independent scientific evidence to the truth.
