Re: brainfog all the time Candida? Dysbiosis? Leaky gut?
Hi Robert, This is interesting, you described my experience with quitting gluten and feeling brain fog lift exactly. I dont know what it is from either. i keep looking too. I quit eating gluten and 4 days later awoke to feeling so much better i thought i had found solution, but like you it slowly returned. I am 58 and have been searching for an answer for a few years just like you. I have also had it clear up or get better a couple other times. once from eating spicey indian food, but i can reproduce that effect, also once from a bee sting. and i have talked with people with lyme doing bee venom therapy who claim there brain fog has improved from bee stings. not sure, i suspect mold or mold toxins, also i am doing heavy metal chelation via andy cutler low dose chelation and that greatly effects the brain fog i experience, but i am not convinced the root of my problem is heavy metals, but it could be. all the people i talk to in the cutler chelation camp think it is. please keep me in the loop for anything you find out. i am looking very hard for this too.
I wake up in the morning feeling like i have a hangover or ran a marathon in my sleep. but then there is another feeling of brain fog that comes in as soon as i eat certain types foods too, often it is fruit that causes it, less likely to be eggs or something with out sugar, usually i feel the best in the evenings after dinner. i dont know if it is candida or a blood
Sugar problem. i am checking it out with my alternative doc next week. i know i did a gall bladder liver cleanse a year and a half ago and felt really good for about a week. feel free to PM me, we can talk more about this and compare notes. thank you
