Re: mixed flukes and tapeworm infection treatment plan

Hi Matt,

I just saw your post about 2 self tests to try.

Here is my update:

ELISA for strongyloides - NEG

ELISA for trichinella - NEG

ELISA for cysticercus - NEG (just double checking that the thumping is not a tapeworm)

I'm almost positive that I had ELISA testing for Tapeworm and Ascaris last year)

***you suggested getting an ELISA test for FASCIOLA HEPATICA - but Drs cant prescribe for that test in NY state - so for now I haven't done it. I would have to go to PA or another state to get a Dr to order a test.

I didn't see your advice for self testing using piperazine extract.

I did read another curezone member who had similar thumping in her intestine & who got out Whipworms using Pyrantel for two weeks.

I am going to try pyrantel for two weeks and see if anything happens.

If this fails, I am considering trying Fenbendazole. I have not tried any med in the Mebendazole/Fenbendazole group and it seems Fenbendazole is easier to get.

What do you think?

Thanks a lot for your help.
