I agree with your decision not to bridge because you lose 2 extra teeth > which is completely insane.

And you are right to have dental fear.

The ceramic ones are the ones to go for. The metal ones will destroy your body because they conduct electricity and create an electrolyising circuit.

The ceramic ones (Zirconia), this material is used in artificial joints and has been for 20+ years so quite well tested.

Looking at costs it might be better to go to Cuba or somewhere like that, I had a filling there it was great. Hungary / Eastern Europe is good. But you do need several trips for implants.

The best bet is probably to just leave it. Why do you need a tooth. Just change the diet a little bit : no hard stuff. What's the problem.

Also get a Panasonic oral irrigator. I have used one for 5 years and never had a filling, and I was averaging one a year before. They are awesome. Tweet
