Re: Healing one lip at a time

Nope I'm putting nothing on them. I'm not sure if you want to hear about this but I'll explain a little about what I've been doing. About 6 and a half months now since October 18 2015 I've left them completely alone letting only water and when I brush my teeth the natural toothpaste touch them (the toothpaste is by the green beaver company apple type, not sure if it's perfect but it doesn't irritate my lips at all like some regular toothpastes would). I even use a mirror for EVERY meal to make sure nothing touches them as I eat (I've got like a 10 page word document on rules to follow to minimize lip damage). The peels are much thinner now, and take much longer to peel. Even at my worst, I can go outside without anyone noticing ever since the 6 month point. Before this though i looked like a monster. I'll post a cured post to go in more detail when I have 100% completely normal lips (too many of those cured posts are still healing).

I tried coconut oil before and it made the scabs fall off sooner for me. I think this would increase the healing time (I think it can work though), but if you have to go out especially if you're working then i guess there isn't a choice and you should put the coconut oil or aquaphor on.
