Re: Very interesting... We are all working on the same problem. We just dont know it...
Your sadly mistaken.
parasites are not the cause of leaky gut. The cause is a bacterial infection.
parasites maybe a problem in some US states, I did read a book "An Epidemic of Absence" by Moises Velasquez-Manoff who claims that parasitic infection is quite common in the US. However it is not the cause of leaky gut.
If
parasites caused damage to the gut wall you would die! And very quickly. Leaky gut is increased permeability and not a hole. Largish food molecules absorb into the blood stream causing an immune reaction and anti body production.
It is very difficult for the body to deal with.
It could be that these bacteria are being introduced into the food chain by drug company employees to further their business. I have no proof for that only a suspicion based upon their corrupt nature, bribery and false drug reports and knowing their covetous greed. They do make a great deal of money out of autoimmune illness after all.
However chances are that the bacteria is just so widespread that it is difficult to avoid and gets into everyone eventually if food is not cooked well or worse eaten raw. It could be on fruit and vegetables, eaten with salads etc.
I have seen vegetarians complaining of problems relating to this infection so it is not solely meat eaters that are affected. Therefore chances are that it is on fruit & veg.
The effect of these bacteria makes parasitical infection far more likely as it lowers the barriers to infection by unwanted pathogens such as candida, parasites and other pathogens.
