Dandruff/Small White hair like things..from my rear end?

God. I did not think that this could get any more gross then it already is. But, I was wrong. Every now and then I will do a self check of my rear end (anus) area because of the pain and burning in that area, along with itching. This morning, I noticed 4 or 5 very small white hair like things close to my anal cavity. When I went to touch them, they just fell off into the air and sort of just floated away. What the hell is this??? They were maybe 1/4 inch long if that, and the thickness of a hair. White. God Almighty. Anyone know what they could be? Hopefully this can narrow down a diagnosis as to what I've got inside me.

Sorry to be so gross and graphic but there is no other way to explain this. With it goes my last shred of dignity as well.
