i agree with your reply. i'm a classic Adrenal Dysfunction person. Weight Loss even with enormous calorie intake is a hallmark of Adrenal Dysfunction. idk what this person is talking about. Why would anyone with Adrenal Dysfunction even worry about calories? If you truly have this illness you'll do anything to get better. I doubt the author of this article knows anything about AD. I worry more about having a balanced diet and eating 6 or 7 times a day and sleeping than calories. First of all if you have Af/Ad counting your calories is out of the question. Getting through the day is hard enough. putting more stress on yourself is HUGE NO NO. Before I started treatment I couldn't remember the day before or to even count a calorie and I couldn't organize anything. Really this is just getting me mad. This much I can tell you, as a true Adrenal Dysfunction person....keep eating and sleeping. eat whole foods and keep a balanced diet. but what helps most is a sublingual adrenal cortex extract. work with a knowledgeable health care practitioner. there aren't many out there. i worked with an alt med doc that advertised he worked with adrenal issues but he tried to heal them w/ sex hormones and thyroid meds. it didn't work....adrenal dysfunction 201: hormones and thyroid can't be normalized until the adrenal glands are. when i went back to the "drawing board" i chose a doctor whose only job is treating adrenal dysfunction. before i made an appointment and paid another cent to anyone i read his reviews on various AF/AD/CFS websites and not on his webpage. don't go to an idiot nd or md. do you due diligence. i'm recovering. and gaining weight.....regardless of calorie intake....really....not a good article.
