I usually take care to have green juices for 2-3 days at least, which doesn't mean I don't chew on fruits relatively early - I did 2 small apples each time spaced by 3-5 hrs, as I felt extremely hungry at my last break-fast. I took care to chew super well - it took probably 1/2 hr to chew the 2 apples down, seeds and all - they were organic, so I did not want to waste even a bit.
It all went well. I am still re-feeding but had already some cooked potatoes and some cooked beans. I am extremely hungry this time and did not experience any abdominal discomfort to this moment.
