Re: Parasites are back!

Finally I feel I can respond to your post. Our situations are so very similar. I also became sick in 2012 and have been battling every type of parasite you can think of since. I have (or had) most of the same worms you had, but I also had hookworms and ropeworms. My situation is that I get rid of one parasite and catch a new one. I'm not good at identifying what I do have. I have also had many parasites that are not worms. These are becoming the hardest to get rid of because they don't respond to anthelmintics like albenza and ivermectin.

I have mainly taken ivermectin this year for strongyloides. Most of my worms are under control. Right now, for the first time in my life, I am taking pyrantel and it is surprising me by clearing up some intestinal problems which none of the other meds have touched.

I am anxious to go off meds because my stomach is finally starting to bother me. My liver is still fine I think. But like you, I know I will have to find another way to battle the worms. I am interested in hearing more about your zapper. Do you use it during the night or day?

I also developed candida since this all began. I am using CaprilyCare by Whole Foods. I am well supplied with meds and supplements and my kitchen counter looks like a pharmacy, but lately I've developed an aversion to taking any of the supplements. I know what you mean about using a spreadsheet. I have gotten totally confused about what everything is for.

I am able to exercise and have started using the treadmill nearly daily again. I have nerve demylination in my legs which affects feeling, but not muscle control so far. One of my current problems is tinnitus which goes up and down in volume. It really drives me crazy. Do you have this? And do you think it is caused by parasites? I supposedly also have chronic lyme which I have never treated. I think I have adrenal fatigue because I can't keep my body temperature up--although it is doing a little better.

I had 2 dogs when this all started and I used to raise dogs, but the 2 did not survive. I believe my hyperinfection was caused by something I caught from them. I wish I could have saved them! It's lonely without them.
