I may be in the same boat as you are! I believe I've had strongyloides since childhood, but didn't know it until a hyperinfection occurred due to other parasite issues 3 years ago.

I am also at an advanced age and have been on worm medicines for 28 months. I have not won the battle, but am infinitely better. The battle may not be win-able for me and I don't want to kill myself trying.

Other than tiredness and weakness, no permanent harm seems to have been done to my liver, etc. It is probably time for me to adopt a similar strategy to your own. I need to regain my strength and stamina.

Were I younger this may not be a course of action I would recommend.

My question for you is, "Why take the niacin and colostrum to cause an egg hatch?". Is this for synchronization purposes so that you won't need to take the medicines so often? Also, are strongyloides the only worm you are dealing with? Or do you have multiple worm and non-worm parasites as I do?

What supplements are you continuing to take?
