Why did natural therapies not work for Steve Jobs?

He did everything - fasting, juicing, raw vegan. He had unlimited wealth to spend on health.
He even got his genome specifically decoded, and had staff hired to analyze it.

Now each side has an explanation.

The natural healing crowd will say that his treatments extended his life from what it may have been.

The allopath crowd will point to how he regretted not getting surgery early (I am not sure how accurate that report is).

What to believe?
