Re: More Info on Dosages of Albendazole
I don't know anything. I used to think I knew.
I took 10mls twice a day for four months. I had people telling me it was too much. It cured me everywhere except the mothership nests on my feet.
I gave my dog the same drug. He got Leukemia. I don't know if it's related.
I got very sick with Herxing too at the 10mls twice a day.
So sick I thought I would die.
I just started Fenbendazole with Sharkman's mum's help on dosage and regime.
I am truly amazed at what a great topical it is. It actually dries up the skin and any scar tissue or biofilm and makes it so easy to just scratch off.
After 48 hours my feet look so much better. I take the scabbing off every day to make sure the Fenben topical gets in. I rub it in for five minutes.
I have started taking it orally as well.
All I can offer is this one idea.
If you feel you are mite-free now, you could try dropping your dose down again.
Do not stop a dosing schedule. Keep it up. Three times I have thought I was cured and three times, three months later the old nests got nips in them.
When I get cured this time. I am going to dose every month for six months and then every six months for the rest of my life.
Sorry I can't tell you what to do Raz, but I hope this helps.
PS make sure you treat your pets. I am starting my dog on Fenben tonight.
Best wishes. Congrats on the mite-free status. Don't give up because of the panic of others. I did that and two years later I still have mites in my feet. Or collembolan or whatever the hell it is.
Trust in your gut instinct and record what you do and take responsibility for it if it works out badly. That's all we can do as grownups.
Sharkman has helped me greatly with his input and I am very hopeful of a cure.
I encourage others to trial Fenbendazole at least as a topical. It is the best I have used. It actually hurts a little bit as it soaks in.
A UK university fellow attached to the leading bird mites guy in the world said my nodule showed signs of 'a
parasite presence" and/or "Insect bite". But no bodies.
